The Gym Group Newark

The Gym Group Newark is in Beacon Hill Retail Park and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The cardio floor holds ten treadmills, six bikes covering upright, recumbent and spin, four Concept II rowers, four cross trainers and two climbmills. Free weights and plate-loaded kit run to seven plate-loaded stations, six Olympic rigs with squat racks, dumbbells from 2kg to 50kg, 11 adjustable benches and a Smith press. Resistance machines cover chest press, shoulder press and leg extension, with three cable stations including an eight-stack and a functional trainer. A HIIT zone adds two Concept II ski ergs, two assault bikes, a battle rope, a prowler track and sled and kettlebells from 4kg to 24kg, and there is a separate glutes area.
