Hertfordshire Sports Village

Hertfordshire Sports Village is based at the University of Hertfordshire’s de Havilland Campus in Hatfield and welcomes members and non-members from the wider community. Its gym combines cardiovascular machines with resistance equipment, free weights and functional training areas. The current equipment list includes treadmills, cross trainers, bikes, rowers, dumbbells up to forty kilograms, a Smith machine and power cages. Health and fitness staff offer support, with an introductory programme available for users building confidence and technique. The wider sports village includes studios, a swimming pool, climbing and racquet facilities, each with separate activity arrangements.
