The Log, often referred to as a Log Bar or Log Press, is a specialized piece of strength equipment used primarily in strongman training. It's a steel or wooden log with cut-out grips designed for overhead pressing movements. The log's unique shape and size make it a challenging and effective tool for building upper body strength, particularly in the shoulders, chest, and arms.
How to use Logs
- Approach the log and position your hands in the cut-out grips.
- Squat down and lift the log to your chest, maintaining a straight back.
- Stabilize the log at your chest, then press it overhead until your arms are fully extended.
- Lower the log back to the chest or ground in a controlled manner.
Benefits of using Logs
